Who is Remote Assistant?
While many startups struggle to balance business operations with social mission, Remote Assistant has managed to do both. Remote Assistant is a Hungarian social enterprise providing scalable, flexible, part-time, remote administrative services to SMEs. At the same time, they offer meaningful employment opportunities to women with changed working abilities and young mothers — two groups that often face barriers to entering the labor market. However, to scale effectively, they needed to formalize their business structure and develop a sustainable growth plan.
Remote Assistant meets Marc
With 12 clients, 10 employees, and a turnover of € 60,000 in 2024, Remote Assistant is at a pivotal point for growth. When founder Bianka Mosolygó-Varga joined Marc, she worked with the program to evaluate Remote Assistant’s structural and operational readiness for scaling.
Two team members from Remote Assistant actively participated in the group learning sessions during the Marc Base phase. “We have finally focused on ourselves in a qualitative way, identifying the issues that need to be tackled to help us move forward” recalls Bianka. „We can start 2025 with a confident plan. In addition to all this, what was most valuable for me personally was that the programme validated us as an impact organisation.”
Thanks to their commitment and progress, Remote Assistant was selected for the Marc Advanced phase — a more intensive, tailored mentoring track. During this phase, they were supported by a trio of dedicated mentors.
Key results
With Marc’s guidance, Remote Assistant is now positioned to scale its operations responsibly. The organisation has laid the groundwork for future growth, optimized its employment and pricing strategies, and clarified its long-term ambitions. These developments allow them to serve more clients, support more women, and ensure long-term sustainability.
